FAQs

We would like to interlink the website www.iyc2019.org. Is it allowed to use the key visual then?

Certainly, the website can be interlinked and the key visual can also be used. Other templates which can be used are shown under "Downloads". The key visual can also be used from there for visual backgrounds to news articles. It is, however, prohibited to alter or adapt the logo in any form.

Is the entry ticket also valid for the public transport system?

The IJT 2019 Düsseldorf gGmbH has arranged with the Rheinbahn Düsseldorf company for participants of the International Youth Convention to travel free of charge by bus and rail to and from the event between 30th May and 2nd June. The combination ticket is valid for all four days on the Rhein-Ruhr regional public transport network (VRR) and is included in the 125 euros entry fee. The Kombiticket cannot be used to travel on any other transport systems than the VRR.

Information on arrival

Are there sufficient charging points on the Messe premises?

According to latest information, it will not be possible for 30,000 participants to charge their smartphones. We therefore recommend that you bring a sufficiently capable power bank with you. If you do not own one, you should take a look before you come to the IYC in the IYC Shop. Power banks are on sale there with a capacity of 20,000 mAh.

From when can I park my caravan on the Messe caravan park?

Generally speaking, you can park your caravan on the Messe caravan park 365 days per year. You can therefore arrive as early as you wish - at your own cost of course.

The caravan park may be used free of charge (including mains electricity) from Monday, 27th May 2019. The park has space for 800 caravans, with electricity, and some without electricity.
