Liability for the contents
The contents of our pages have been prepared with great care. Nevertheless, we accept no responsibility for the current state, correctness, integrity or quality of information provided.
Claims for liability against the publisher or individual editors concerning damages of a material or non-material nature, through the use or non-use of any information displayed, or caused by the use of erroneous or incomplete information, are fundamentally excluded, inasmuch as evidence of wilful or gross culpability does not exist.
All information provided is subject to alteration and is non-binding. We expressly reserve the right to alter, add, or delete, parts of the pages or the complete information, or to temporarily or irrevocably remove the publication without prior notice.
As a service provider, we are responsible for the contents of these pages in accordance with the conditions laid down in § 7 Abs.1 TMG (Telemedia Act). However, in accordance with §§ 8 to 10 of the TMG, as service provider we are not responsible for monitoring information provided or stored by third parties, or to research in any circumstances, where unlawful activities may be suggested. The responsibility for removing or denying the use of information, according to general legal requirements, remains hereby unaffected. Liability for this, however, only exists at the moment when concrete knowledge of a legal breach is found. We will immediately remove such contents when we become aware of a corresponding legal infringement.
Liability for links
Our information includes links to external third party websites, over which we have no influence. Therefore, we are unable to undertake any liability for these external contents. Respective owners or providers of such linked websites are responsible for their contents.
Websites linked to our pages have been checked for possible legal infringements at the time they became linked. No contents have been found at the moment of linking which could be construed to be illegal. Permanent control of the linked websites is, however, not reasonable without concrete evidence of a legal infringement. We will immediately take the action to remove a link when such a legal transgression becomes known to us.
Website providers are liable for illegalities, inaccurate or incomplete information and especially for damages caused by the use or non-use of information to which any of these sites refer, and not those who receive and publish such information through links.
Copyright
The contents and works published on these pages lie within the German copyright laws. Articles provided by third parties are routinely labelled as such. Downloads and copies of these pages is only permitted for private, non-commercial use.
The copyright of third parties must be observed where contents of these pages have not been produced by the provider. The provider of these pages always endeavours to use his/her own and license-free material. Items published by third parties are appropriately labelled.
The copyright of objects owned and published by an editor, remains solely with the author of that respective page. Duplication or the use of graphics, audio documents, video sequences and texts in other electronic or printed publication is not permitted without express permission.
We will immediately remove any such items when legal infringements come to our attention.
Cookies and hit rate measurement
We use “session cookies” of the Munich based “VG Wort” company to measure accesses to text, in order to determine the copy probability. Session cookies are small units of information which a provider stores in the computer of a website visitor. A session cookie leaves a randomly generated, unique identification number behind; a so-called session ID. The cookie also contains information about its origin and storage retention period. The cookies are not able to store any other form of data. The measurements are carried out by the “INFOnline” company, using a scalable centralised measuring system and help in determining the probability of text copyright infringements of authors and publishers. We do not use cookies to gather personally related data.
The information allows our authors to participate in the VG Wort analysis output, to guard against contravention of copyright protected information. It is possible to access our website without cookies. Most browsers are so configured that they automatically accept cookies. You can deactivate the storing of cookies, or set your browser to inform you as soon as cookies are being sent.
Statistics
This website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service of Google Inc (“Google”). Google Analytics makes use of so-called “cookies”, text data, which is stored on your computer, and which helps to analyse your use of the website. The information gathered by the cookies of your use (including your IP address) is forwarded to a server of Google in the USA, where it is stored. Google then uses that information to evaluate your use of the website, to provide reports of website activities to the site provider and to send other details of website and internet use to other connected services. Google will also provide this information to third parties, insomuch as it is legally permitted, or when others process the data on behalf of Google.
Google will not use your IP address in connection with other data of Google. You can avoid the installation of cookies by appropriately setting your browser software. We would advise you, however, that you will then not be able to make full use of all features of this website. By using this website, you give your consent for Google to use the data for the purposes and means hereby described.
You can deny data of your website being used by the cookie and by Google, including your IP address, by downloading and installing the following browser plug-in link: http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en.
Our website and our mobile web platform use the scalable centralised measuring system of the “INFOnline” company, (https://www.infonline.de) to gather statistical data for the copy probability of text.
The data is anonymously collected and the hit rate measurement recognises computer systems by using either a session cookie or a signature, taken from various, automatically generated, browser information. IP addresses are analysed in an anonymous form.
This process has been developed under the compliance of data protection requirements. The only aim of the process is to observe the probability of individual texts being copied. At no time are individual users identifiable. Their identity will always remain protected and they do not receive any advertising over the system.
