Just imagine a school playground with the commotion of children all talking loudly at the same time. Some of them are even screaming, because they are trying to talk above the noise and the sound is deafening. No one hears the poor child in the corner who really has something to say.
Isn’t that how it often is in the daily routine with the presence of God. There are times when we can’t hear what God is saying, because it’s so loud around us. When we can’t hear Him, we could ask the question, “Where is God? Is He here at all?”
Escape from the worldly routine
”Where are You?” is the question for Friday evening’s devotional at 11:30 p.m. in Hall 8a. “We would like to reflect together how we can escape from the everyday routines and actively seek God,” said Rebekka, who is one of the originators of the idea by the youth from Leipzig.
The devotional hopes to give its participants further impulses following two very emotional days, with searchlights, actors, music and discussion. Exactly how it will look like will not be revealed here. It will be interesting!
