Four great days, packed with impressions, lie behind the participants of the International Youth Convention 2019. The IYC 2019 will be remembered for a long time to come.
Most of the participants of the youth convention start their journey back to their homeland on Sunday afternoon, after having attended the divine service in the arena in the morning. By car, train, plane - or chartered train. Annabell, for example, travels back home with one of the chartered trains. And that means that she still takes along with her a little bit of the feeling and atmosphere of the IYC, - and up to Potsdam, the journey will take a while. Already on the arrival trip, there was an exuberant mood in the train. What she liked most is the event “Here, There, Everywhere” in the arena on Saturday evening. "But now I'm looking forward to my bed", she says.
Christino N'Goko Obama has to travel a longer journey back home: He returns to Equatorial Guinea in Central Africa on Monday. Together with five other young people, he has taken the long journey to Germany, he tells in broken English. In his home country, actually Spanish and French are spoken. But there are two things he has to get rid of: "The fellowship impressed me. And Germany is the best country in the world", he said. He is happy to tell the 1,500 brothers and sisters in his home congregation about the time at the IYC. The IYC photographers captured the most beautiful pictures of the farewell.
